Seaside Crossfit Group Classes are offered Monday through Friday in the morning, noon, and evening and Saturday mornings. The Basic Workshops meet 3 times a week for 2 consecutive weeks. Please note, if you have pre-existing injuries or are deconditioned, additional private coaching sessions may be required before moving into our fast-paced group classes.

Beach Crossfit

We move our popular Group Class outside during daylight savings time! During the later Spring, Summer and early Fall we love to workout outside when we can. Enjoy our Daily WOD’s out at the open beach with the added bonus of beach sand, a swim and a picturesque location in the seaside town of Marion, Massachusetts.

Private Coaching

Private Coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible.

You will find the greatest success starting CrossFit with private coaching if your needs or goals include:

  • weight loss and improved body composition
  • extra accountability
  • you have generally been sedentary
  • you are new to exercise
  • you have specific performance oriented goals (triathlon, basketball, etc.)
  • you are pregnant or have just had a child
  • you have an orthopedic injury

Your coach will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you. Please note, if you have pre-existing injuries or are deconditioned, additional private coaching sessions may be required before moving into our fast-paced group classes.

Strength Conditioning

In season:

The program is designed for beginner/intermediate experience in strength and conditioning. Emphasis on key movements including Bench, Squat, Deadlift, press, and power clean. Additional accessory and conditioning work will be individualized and tailored towards athletes’ sports specific needs. For example, a pitchers program would incorporate unilateral shoulder stability and strengthening exercises to develop the rotator cuff and surrounding muscles. Alternatively, an athlete requiring more explosive, reactionary development would be given a program that works unilateral leg development, and change of direction drills.
Once an athlete has developed beyond the beginner level, the program will shift to a conjugate model. This decreases the frequency of the major lifts and increases accessory work, allowing for continual athletic development
As the athlete’s season approaches, there is greater emphasis placed on conditioning and peaking the athlete for maximal in season performance

In season:

This is a two day a week program designed for strength maintenance an recovery. The intent here is to maximize in season performance. Thus, the program utilizes a low volume, moderate intensity approach to achieving this goal.

1 On 1 Nutrition program

Whether you want to lower your cholesterol, blood pressure, or body fat percentage, addressing nutrition is key. CrossFit Founder Greg Glassman said it best, ā€œnutrition and exercise are twin facets of the same goal or result, which is improved health or fitness.ā€ If we only work one side of the equation and neglect the other, we will not optimize results. There is no easy fix or magic bullet. A short-term diet will only yield short-term results. To experience consistent, long-term progress we need to educate ourselves and view proper nutrition as a lifestyle.

The goal of this program is to provide you with an individualized approach to nutrition. We will address what type of food you should eat, when you should eat, and how much you should consume. This will remove the second-guessing and allow you to place your trust in the process. Additionally, we understand that strict, rigid diets will last only a short time. You can only eat chicken and spinach for so long before you lose your mind! Therefore, this program is designed to be flexible, allowing you to account for cheat foods or meals while simultaneously progressing towards your goals.
